Chris Kealey
Candidate for Bosworth

I am standing as the positive choice this May. I’m a local lad with Labour values who has seen some of the world – from Afghanistan to Buckingham Palace. I want to represent the community I grew up in and fight daily to create jobs, protect our schools and safeguard the NHS.

I believe Hinckley and Bosworth deserves better. We have suffered an ineffective MP for too long and we are tired of Liberal Democrat hollow promises.

Proud to be local, I went to Hastings High and John Cleveland College, played rugby for the town, and was involved at Concordia theatre. My family lives in Burbage.

I’ve served my country and my community, having served in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office for over 10 years, including postings to the UN, EU and Turkey. I received the MBE in 2010 (aged 30) for my work in Afghanistan. I worked for Prince William, Prince Harry and The Duchess of Cambridge at the time of the royal wedding, liaising with their charities. Now I work for an education charity that draws on the skills of ex-Forces personnel.

Our community deserves better. I would like to be the go-getting, positive representative Hinckley and Bosworth needs.
