Matthew Lamb
Candidate for Wyre Forest
Dr. Matthew Lamb is 43 and spent his formative years in Wyre Forest where he lived for more than 17 years. Matt was educated at Comberton Middle School, King Charles 1st High School and Kidderminster College before he went off to university. Matt's higher education cultiminated in a PhD from the University of Birmingham. Matt has worked in further and higher education for the last 16 years, and he currently works as Director of Sixth Form at Sandwell College in West Bromwich. Matt first stood for office in Kidderminster at the age of 23 and has political experience as the district councillor for the St John ward in Worcester. Since May 2013, Matt has been the Cabinet Member for Cleaner and Greener on Worcester City Council. Matt's father lives in Kidderminster and his partner, Zoe, lives in Stourport. Matt has a 12 year old daugher called Angel.
