CANDIDATE FOR VALE OF CLWYD

The Vale of Clwyd constituency is diverse and needs an MP who understands all of its needs.

I was born in St Asaph and live in Prestatyn with my wife Nina and our baby son. I work as a GP in the NHS and was previously a trainee doctor at Glan Clwyd Hospital.

There's much concern among local people about the standard of healthcare in Wales. That's why I'll use my knowledge and experience and hold the Labour Assembly to account so that you receive as high a standard of care as in England.

For the last ten years, I've served the community as a councillor.

I'm determined to build a stronger, more wealth-creating economy in the Vale of Clwyd. I will work with small businesses to create jobs and fight for better local infrastructure - to make our area more accessible to business.

In particular, I want more ambition to be shown for Rhyl, where my family lived and worked for generations.

After nearly 18 years of Labour, the Vale of Clwyd can do better. I believe my background shows I understand the aspirations of local people - and that I can deliver the change our community needs.
