LUCY ALLAN
CANDIDATE FOR TELFORD
Telford needs an MP who will put Telford first and work hard to give Telford a voice at the 'top table'.
I have been campaigning on key local issues to help make Telford a great place to live and work, including: bring better broadband to Telford and a direct rail link. I am working with local business to secure more opportunities for young people. I have been standing up for local people on issues that they care about.
I live in Dawley Bank and I am involved in a number of local groups and charities. I enjoy playing an active role across Telford in our community life.
I have served as a local councillor, focusing on services for children and families, sitting on fostering and adoption panels, and serving as a school governor. I have also served on the board of a local NHS trust, worked with a domestic violence charity, and have campaigned to reduce the numbers of children going into the care system.
If elected MP for Telford I would make giving people the tools for success my top priority: jobs, skills and strong families.
