I was born in neighbouring Ipswich and raised in Felixstowe, the largest town in Suffolk Coastal until I was 18. I attended Nottingham University, the first person in my family to gain a degree, and lived in Nottingham for five years after graduating. I have recently relocated to London with my wife, who I married in 2008. I return to Suffolk frequently to visit family and friends.
