Will Straw currently leads all research on energy and transport issues for the Institute for Public Policy Research.

Will grew up in London and East Lancashire, spending weekends with his family walking in the West Pennines and Ribble Valley and watching Blackburn Rovers.

He worked in the Treasury for the Labour government and went on to set up Left Foot Forward – One of Britain's leading policy and campaigning websites.
