Sam was selected as Labour's Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Romford in November 2013. Sam, 22, attended Marshalls Park School, Romford and more recently graduated from the University of Essex with a Bachelors Degree in Politics. He has previously worked for the Dagenham and Rainham MP, Jon Cruddas. Having previously worked with an MP, Sam knows how to help solve local issues for local people and will bring this expertise to Romford.

Sam has lived in Romford his whole life, and because of this, he understands the concerns of the people of Romford. Issues like the performance of Queens Hospital and the closure of King George's A&E need to be dealt with urgently. As well as this, Romford is experiencing a severe housing crisis that, twinned with the ever-rising cost of living, is hitting people hard.

Romford deserves an MP that will work to solve these problems instead of neglecting them. Sam's campaign will revolve around these issues because it is clear that the people of Romford are very concerned about these growing problems.
