LAURA KNIGHTLY
CANDIDATE FOR ALYN AND DEESIDE
Born and raised in North Wales, Laura comes from a large family with a strong Conservative background, and she has been campaigning for the Party from a young age. Through her background in her family’s tourism business and her own involvement in manufacturing and financial multinationals, Laura has grown up with an understanding of the importance of industry to the Welsh economy.
After working in the City of London since graduation, she is now based in North Wales fulltime to better fight the election campaign.
Laura understands the importance of language to the cultural identity and heritage of a country, having read French, German and Spanish at university, and is a Welsh learner.
Healthcare is a key issue for Laura and she is keen to work to ensure people are getting the access to services they need, both in North Wales and across the UK.
