BEN HOWLETT
CANDIDATE FOR BATH
The healthcare consultant, who has worked for the NHS for the last six years, puts the future of the health service at the heart of his political work.

His brother is a doctor, his grandmother relies on nurses as a result of her dementia and his mother is disabled.
His political successes include raising tens of thousands of pounds for the Party, holding events with speakers including the Chancellor, Foreign Secretary and Home Secretary.

He was the first Conservative Future Chairman in five years to address the Party Conference on the main stage.
His voluntary and community work includes organising the CF Poppy Fund and a Help for Heroes shoebox appeal for troops serving in Afghanistan.

His political priorities for Bath are providing a long-term vision for getting people back to work, protecting local front line health care services and dealing with Bath's stalling transport system.

Ben, who has already been out canvassing in the city, said he will also be campaigning to protect grammar schools, open more free schools and improve the standards and status of higher and further education.

He said: "I'm delighted to have been selected as the Parliamentary Candidate for Bath. This city is one of the most beautiful places on earth and it will be a real privilege to help solve those issues that Bath residents feel concerned about."
