East Dunbartonshire, Amanjit Jhund
Amanjit Jhund was born in Glasgow in 1981 and raised in East Dunbartonshire. He attended Edinburgh Medical School qualifying as a doctor in 2004. Whilst at University, he became the 1st UK national and 2nd person in the world to be accepted to study Hepatology at Harvard Medical School. He went on to work as a doctor in the NHS and founded his 1st company at the age of 27 becoming a multi-award winning entrepreneur, winning awards from Barclays, RBS, Business Gateway and others. He now works as a specialist in Hospital improvement and transformation.
