Jonathan Chatfield
South East Cambridgeshire

Community campaigner Jonathan Chatfield is the local choice for South East Cambridgeshire at the next General Election. Having lived in this constituency for nearly 20 years, Jonathan understands the issues faced by residents in this area because he faces them too. He is married to Dot and they have one son who attends the local village school.

Jonathan is standing to be the next MP because he wants to improve education, strengthen our local economy and improve public transport as well as local roads.

A graduate of both Warwick Business School and the University of Bradford he has significant business experience. For the last 20 years he has held various commercial management roles within the rail industry and has advised Network Rail on several major investment projects in the London area.

Jonathan currently works for ATOC (Association of Train Operating Companies) as a policy specialist. Jonathon wants to use this knowledge and experience to stand up for the people of South East Cambridgeshire.

Jonathon has been a local councillor for the last 12 years and as a community activist he has a long record of campaigning on the issues that matter to people. Over the years he has successfully campaigned to protect and improve local health services, to make our roads safer, protect local Post Offices, improve cycling infrastructure and introduce doorstep recycling.

He has stood twice previously for this constituency and has increased the vote from 13,937 to 21,683 (last time) with Labour in a distant third place with 4,380 votes.
