Louise Ellman
Labour and Co-operative MP for Liverpool Riverside
Before entering Parliament in 1997 for the Liverpool Riverside constituency, Louise was an Open University lecturer in further education. She was leader of Lancashire County Council from 1981 to 1997.
In Parliament, Linda has been a Member of Transport, Local Government and the Regions Select Committee. She became Chair of the Transport Select Committee in 2008.
