Local members of the Edinburgh Conservative and Unionist Association have selected Lindsay Paterson as their candidate for the Edinburgh West constituency at the 2015 General Election. The constituency includes Cramond; Corstorphine; Davidson’s Mains; Murrayfield; Kirkliston; Queensferry; Ratho; South Gyle and Drumbrae.

Lindsay grew up in Davidson’s Mains and is the Scottish Conservative councillor for Almond ward, which covers much of the west of the constituency. Lindsay lives in Edinburgh West and works for a professional membership organisation in the city centre.

Lindsay is a graduate of the University of St Andrews and has worked in recruitment and research. She has been an active member of the Scottish Conservatives for over fifteen years.

Lindsay said “I am delighted to have been selected to stand in Edinburgh West at the General Election. I live in the constituency and know the area well both as a local resident and as a local councillor. I look forward to meeting local people on the doorsteps and at community events around the constituency over the coming months.”
