HENRY SMITH
MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT FOR CRAWLEY

Henry has been MP for Crawley since May 2010.

In Parliament he serves on the European Scrutiny Committee and is Vice-Chair of the Trans Atlantic & International Security APPG.

He is married to Jennifer, who previously worked for the NHS. They have a young daughter and son. He likes to spend what spare time there is with his family.

HENRY'S EXPERIENCE IN PUBLIC LIFE
Henry was Leader of West Sussex County Council from 2003 until 2010. He was also Chairman of the South East Strategic Leaders group.

From 1997 to 2010 Henry was a County Councillor representing Crawley.

In addition he has previously been a Crawley Borough Councillor as well as Governor at several local schools in the town.
